Earlston Parish Church has occupied a prominent place in the village for many generations, probably at least as far back as the twelfth century. Today its fine Victorian architecture dominates the East End of Earlston, and its comfortable interior welcomes a great diversity of worshipers. Please come and join us, and enjoy your welcome afterwards with a cup of tea or coffee – you’ll find it hard to get away.

Morning worship is normally offered every Sunday at 10:15 (except on special occasions), with Holy Communion at various times of the year.  There are also occasional weekday services.

The Church of Scotland has a deep concern for the wholeness and well-being of each individual. Through its congregations, working together with the Safeguarding Service and statutory agencies, the Church seeks to safeguard the welfare of all people who come into contact with the Church and its services.

The Gospel proclaims that it is the responsibility of everyone within the Church to prevent harm, be it physical, sexual or emotional, and we will always seek to reduce risk.

The Church's commitment to safeguarding remind us that God cares passionately about the welfare and well-being of all people.

On Sunday 21st April the service at 10.15am will be led by Mr Jimmy McLean. Refreshments will be served after the service. Later that day Prayer Support will be held in the church at 6.30pm. All Welcome.

COMMUNITY CAFE AND LARDER- Earlston Community Cafe and Larder Foodshare  is open Wednesday mornings from 10.30am to 12 noon, in the church hall.  Come along for a cup of tea or coffee, with biscuits, and a friendly chat. No charge, but donations are welcome. We have a toddler play area in the main hall, and parents or carers with little ones can make use of the quiet lounge.  Free food is available from the Earlston Community Development Trust Larder Foodshare. This is good food that would otherwise go to waste, and is for anyone to collect. Donations of food are also accepted. For more information contact Gill Yellowlees on 07747757214. 

SPRING COFFEE MORNING - The Church are holding a Coffee Morning for CHRISTIAN AID which will be held on Saturday 4th May in the church hall from 10am to 11.30am. Admission is £3, which includes refreshments and entry for children is free. There will be a Baking Stall and a Plant Stall.

Sunday worship is available on BBC Radio Scotland, live on Sundays at 7.30 am and

BBC Radio 4, live on Sundays at 8.10 am

We do not currently hold a regular Sunday School; children are always welcome to any service, there is a good selection of resources available in the dedicated area at the front of the sanctuary. Special provision has been made for wheelchairs in the body of the church.  

Above all, there are few aspects of village life in which Earlston Parish Church doesn’t play a prominent part. The quarterly Church & Community Magazine is distributed to every household in the parish, and contains news from many village organisations (select the About Us tab, and then Magazine). The annual service to celebrate the commencement of Civic Week has even taken place in the festive marquee in previous years.
